Transliteration:
Rabbana hablana min azwajina wa dhurriyyatina qurrata a'yunin waj'alna lil-muttaqina imama

Translation:
"My Lord, grant me [a child/spouse] from among the righteous."
Source: Qur'an 37:100
Context: Prophet Ibrahim (AS) made this dua, and Allah blessed him with righteous children. We can use it to ask for a righteous spouse and offspring.
Transliteration:
Allahumma inni as'aluka khayraha wa khayra ma jabaltaha 'alayhi, wa a'udhu bika min sharriha wa sharri ma jabaltaha 'alayhi
Translation:
"O Allah, I ask You for her/his goodness and the goodness of the nature You have given her/him, and I seek refuge in You from her/his evil and the evil of the nature You have given her/him."
When to recite: Silently, when you first meet or see a potential spouse in a halal setting
The Prophet ﷺ taught us to recite this dua when we are with our spouse for the first time:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِهَا وَخَيْرِ مَا جَبَلْتَهَا عَلَيْهِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا وَشَرِّ مَا جَبَلْتَهَا عَلَيْهِ
Transliteration:
Allahumma inni as'aluka min khayriha wa khayri ma jabaltaha 'alayhi, wa a'udhu bika min sharriha wa sharri ma jabaltaha 'alayhi
Translation:
"O Allah, I ask You for the good in her and the good You have created in her, and I seek refuge in You from the evil in her and the evil You have created in her."
Instructions: The groom places his hand on the bride's forehead and recites this dua.(Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah)
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Transliteration:
Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina 'adhaban-nar
Translation:
"Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."
Source: Qur'an 2:201
Note: This is a comprehensive dua that includes seeking a good spouse, as it asks for "goodness in this world"
While there's no specific dua, we can make personal supplications like:
In Arabic:
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ بَيْنَنَا مَوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً وَسَكِينَةً
Transliteration:
Allahumma aj'al baynana mawaddatan wa rahmatan wa sakinah
Translation:
"O Allah, place between us love, mercy, and tranquility."
Based on Qur'an 30:21: "And among His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy."
Wake up in the last third of the night and pray 2-8 rak'ahs. Make sincere dua for a righteous spouse. This is when Allah descends to the lowest heaven and answers prayers.
It contains the story of Prophet Musa (AS) who made dua for a righteous companion and was guided to his wife. Read it with the intention of finding a spouse.
"Sadaqah extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire." Give with the intention of removing obstacles in your path to marriage.
Recite "Astaghfirullah" (I seek forgiveness from Allah) 100 times daily. Sins can delay blessings.
Recite "Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad" frequently. Sending blessings upon the Prophet increases barakah in your life.
Voluntary fasting increases taqwa and is a powerful act of worship. Make dua when breaking your fast.
Be Patient and Trust Allah's Timing
Allah's timing is perfect. What is meant for you will not miss you.
Work on Yourself
While making dua, improve your character, deen, health, and career. Become the person you want to attract.
Don't Obsess Over Results
Make dua consistently but don't become anxious. Let go and let Allah handle it.
Avoid Haram Relationships
Dating, secret relationships, and physical intimacy before marriage remove barakah from your search.
